Finance Director – US F500, Global Leading Internet – CBD, Beijing
Company: World’s leading and largest Entertainment Group. Due to the fast expanding in Great China, now they are looking for a Finance Director to lead the business control, planning & logistics functions, drive efficient budgeting & planning management strategy & processes and ensure the execution across all LOBs, incl. Mobile, Core Game, Social Game, Interactive Worlds and Interactive Media as well as interact with SSC, and US activity.
Report to: Business VP based in Beijing; Corporate CFO based in Shanghai

Responsibility:
The Finance Director is responsible for developing, directing, planning, and evaluating financial plans and policies in budget and financial analysis; reviewing and approving recommendations for financial planning and control, providing relevant fiscal information to executive management team; monitoring division and department adherence to approved budget; selecting, developing and evaluating personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function; participating and establishing strategic plans and objectives; ensuring budgets and schedules per corporate requirements; participating in corporate development of methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for projects, programs, and people.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly forecast submissions and consolidate financials including P&L, cash flow for DI Greater China for internal management and operations planning
• Prepare monthly P&L variance analysis
• Development and submission of Five year Strategic Plan and Annual Operating Plan
• Coordinate and submit invoices and revenue recognition requests for revenue earned through DI Greater China’s partners
• Development of business plans for new business and key strategic lines of business as well as the review of proposed term sheets and contracts for financial concerns and business risk
• Prepare summary financial presentations for Corporate Controllership, Tax, DI Senior Management, and other governing bodies
• Serve as a liaison between internal business unit management and corporate operations planning
• Implement financial system, set of internal controls and accounting procedures that consolidates and reports actual of the monthly/quarterly and annual operating results
• Recommendations/Due diligence on new product project spending and strategy, as well as the identification of funds available for this work
• Develop talents and build up the team capability
Requirements:
• University degree in Finance or Accounting is required; CPA and/or MBA preferred
• Progressive career track record encompassing 10+ years’ experience in related function with well respected multi-national companies or relevant industry, with 3- 5 years experience in a senior management role; experience should be characterized by dynamic markets, fast pace, frequent product and technology change, and multiple channels
• Demonstrated experience in serving as an advisor and partner to senior managers
• Ability to operate under pressure and deliver remarkable solutions and strategy under tight deadlines
• Respected people manager with a disciplined and detailed management style, which provides clear direction, mentoring, and ongoing performance feedback
• Good business acumen, able to contribute to operating management to achieve company’s strategies and objectives
• Outstanding financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, modeling and analytical skills with strong practical perspective
• Fluent in English and Mandarin, excellent communication and influencing skills to engage all business stakeholders at different levels, including business partners, internal teams and external parties / customers effectively
• Familiar with the China environment, and in-depth understanding of business conditions and government / regulatory issues in China
• Highest ethical standards, highly detail-oriented attitude, cross-cultural sensitivity
