Title: Greater China Employee Relations Manager

Company Scenario
Our client is a global leader in the sporting goods/apparel industry.
Key Responsibilities:
This position will responsible forthe development and implementation of approved organization-wide employee relations policies and practices, focusing on the following key objectives:
1. Providing counsel to employee relations council to employees, business leaders and other HR professionals in the organization on various company policies and management issues (including covering labor laws and policies, employment issues, etc.)
2. Facilitating skill building workshops for business managers and other functional leaders, and developing employee relations related materials as needed
3. Providing guidance in interpreting complex questions regarding application of labor-related agreements. Acting as the primary contact for the work council and escalating issues as appropriate.
4. Providing necessary information to respond to agency claims and court proceedings as needed.
Top 3 Requirements:
1. 6 years varied/progressive HR or related business experience, including 2 years’ significant employee relations or labor relations experience.Experience in performance/compensation management training and development, leadership and competency development, etc. would be benefit.
2. Very strong communication skills and ability to influence others. Can explain to employees and managers (often in stressful situations) what the policy and process is as employee/job-related issues arise
3. Professional stature to interact with managers and lead investigations
Special Requirements:
1. Good foundation of knowledge in labor laws and employment policies
2. Strong problem solving capabilities. Ability to effectively analyze non-routine and/or complex situations and identify appropriate actions.
